Hi, my name is Jackie Pillai.

I was born in Holland and had my education in England, the Netherlands and in the United States. I moved to the US in the late 70's. I have lived in several states and moved back to California at the beginning of 2008 after being in Arizona for fifteen years. There, I had a successful marketing business as well as a tax and bookkeeping service. I am a business consultant, Professional Bookkeeper (PB) and California Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP). I am currently a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and Heart Link. I also support all businesses, large and small, and I believe that we should try to help the businesses in our neighborhood as much as possible so that we can grow together as a community. My name is Karen Van Hoepen.

I am a bookkeeper and a California Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP). Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Certified Bookkeeper (CB). What is that, you ask? It means that I have to have at least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, I must pass a 4-part national examination and I must sign a Code of Ethics. I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
I also have extensive horse and horse business experience. While I do bookkeeping for all industries, I have a special place in my heart for helping horse businesses.
